The services we pride ourselves on
Explore the portfolio
Every problem that brings an owner to us reduces to one of two questions: what should this company become, and is it built to become it. Most firms are only equipped for the first one.
Four service lines answer them in one sequence. Business Strategy & Growth decides the direction with you. Operating Model & Organisational Design, Go-to-Market and Executive Development build the company that can carry it. Analyse, decide, build, sustain: the work is finished when your company runs it without us.
We do this from Prishtina, across Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and the wider Balkans, as an AI-empowered management consulting firm led by Art Shala, PhD, with eighteen years of practice across a dozen industries.
Start from the problem
- The strategy is in your head and nowhere else. Nobody else can act on it, and nobody can argue with it. Business Strategy & Growth
- Every decision still comes back to you. The structure was built for a smaller company and nobody has redesigned it since. Operating Model & Organisational Design
- You sell well because two or three people sell well. There is no system underneath them, and you know what happens if they leave. Go-to-Market
- You promoted your best people and lost your best people. They are struggling at a job nobody taught them, and no longer doing the one they were excellent at. Executive Development
- You are opening a second site, a second country, or franchising. What works here has never been tested anywhere the founder is not standing. Operating Model & Organisational Design
- Someone wants to invest, buy in, or buy you. You have never had to state the case for your own business to a person entitled to disagree with it. Business Strategy & Growth

How the work runs
What repeats in our work is not the content. It is the sequence.
-
Analyse.
Understand the business honestly, including the things the owner has not said out loud and the things everyone knows but nobody has written down. This is not a phase we sell. It is where every engagement starts.
-
Decide.
Decide the direction with the owner rather than for them. A strategy the owner did not build will not be defended when it gets expensive. This is where Business Strategy & Growth sits.
-
Build.
Redesign the structure and the operating model so it can carry the decision, rebuild how the company sells, then build the people who will run it. Most strategies do not fail in the market. They fail in the org chart. This is where Operating Model & Organisational Design, Go-to-Market and Executive Development sit.
-
Sustain.
The work is finished when the company can run it without us, not when the invoice is. Adoption, measurement and the routines that keep a decision alive after we have gone.
An AI-empowered consulting firm
XPR was rebuilt around AI before we offered any of it to a client. Our methodology, our terminology, our quality standards and our document structures are encoded and machine-executable. The firm runs on a system rather than on whoever happens to be available that week.
Most firms are adding AI to how work is presented. We rebuilt how it is produced.
What that gives a client is depth. Analysis a firm this size would once have had to sample, we now cover. Options that used to get narrowed for reasons of time are tested properly instead. The market picture behind a decision is wider, and it arrives while the decision still matters.
It gives you consistency. The standard of what you receive does not depend on who was staffed to your project, or on how far into the engagement we are.
And it moves senior time to where it is worth most: in the room, arguing the decision with you, and afterwards, making sure the organisation actually adopts it. A consultant reviews and approves everything that reaches you. Judgment about strategy, people, facts and money stays with people.
Common questions
What kind of companies do you work with?
Owner-led and family-owned companies, holdings and investment groups, and international companies operating in the region. Typically between forty and several thousand people, across Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and the wider Balkans. The common thread is not sector or size. It is that the company has grown past the way it was organised.
Do you only advise, or do you implement?
Both, and we treat implementation as part of the engagement rather than as a separate proposal. The distance between a good decision and a working company is where most consulting quietly ends, and where most of the value is quietly lost.
What does an engagement cost?
It depends on scope and duration, and we will not quote before we understand the decision you are facing. What we can say is how we price: by engagement rather than by day, agreed before we start, with the scope written down so that neither side is guessing later.
How long is a typical engagement?
Design phases usually run eight to twelve weeks. Implementation runs longer, from a few months to a full year, depending on how much of the organisation has to change.
In which languages do you work?
English, Albanian and Italian. Client documents are produced in the language the people using them think in, with terminology held consistent across every document in an engagement.
How does an engagement begin?
With a conversation about the decision you are facing, not with a proposal. We work with a small number of clients at a time, because implementation requires presence rather than availability.
Most of our work starts with an owner describing a decision they have been carrying alone for a while. If that is where you are, the conversation is free and the worst outcome is a clearer view of your own problem.
